As a Residential Assistant at Student Village Melbourne, built community through creative event programming and developed social media content to showcase the resident experience.
About the Client
Student Village is purpose-built student accommodation for the University of Melbourne, run by Campus Living Villages - pairing on-campus housing with a residential life program of workshops, events, and community-building activities for residents.
The Challenge
Foster a strong sense of community among diverse residents, and build Student Village's social media presence to drive engagement.
What I Did
- Organised and facilitated weekly community workshops from December 2025 to August 2026
- Matcha cookie baking, jewellery making, polymer clay, tote bag painting, glass painting, and kimbap workshops
- Planned, filmed, and edited 4 reels showcasing the Student Village community experience
- Captured authentic resident moments to promote engagement
